1)     What was the general theme or argument of the book? The general theme of the book is that you can persevere in the face of numerous obstacles. She used her drive ad the ability to sell to get her foot in the door small time and then end up highly successful as an entrepreneurship.   2)     How did the book, in your opinion, connect with and enhance what you are learning in ENT 3003? The biggest thing that I connected with that I learned in this class is the ability to pitch your idea. When she got her first big break, she had to sell encyclopedias. 1) Who they are and what their background is. Carl Dawson is a commercial real estate agent who runs his own company. He also is very knowledgeable in insurance. He is a domain expert. The second person is market expert which is Tom, a broker. The last is Mr. Porter who works at a large commercial real estate company. 2) Which 'slot' you are filling with each person (i.e., domain expert, market expert, supplier), and how the person fills the spot. Specifically regarding your business concept, how do you see this business (if you were to start it) playing a role in your life? I am a hardworking, straight forward person, and I am very decisive. My skills and experiences include small business building from marketing, production, and customer interaction/sales. My aspirations are to make money or to be a known member of the community.
