1. What?
Baby Boomers
Aren't Retiring
A. where you found it (i.e.,
what the source of the information was that led you to form the belief about an
opportunity)
B. what leads you to believe
that this information suggests an opportunity might exist
With more people remaining in the
work force means more opportunity for equipment or training to e provided.
C. who do you think is most
likely to be the customer with the opportunity (i.e., the prototypical
customer)
This information leads me to believe
that with so many elderly people still working there is opportunity to provide
a resource to help them while at work whether it is will a back brace, helping
with their other errands, or some sort of technology training for basic use.
D. is the opportunity relatively
easy or relatively difficult to exploit, and why do you think so?
I believe that as far as providing
personal equipment for the aging population would have a medium difficultly
level. I would have to find what is needed, discover how to advertise it

Causing More Natural Disasters
A. where you found it (i.e.,
what the source of the information was that led you to form the belief about an

B. what leads you to believe
that this information suggests an opportunity might exist
Florida has so many hurricanes
and certain places experience abnormal flooding. We are almost below sea or at
sea level in certain places and the water is rising always over the years. With
climate change occurring water is getting even higher to due to melting ice.
C. who do you think is most
likely to be the customer with the opportunity (i.e., the prototypical
customer)
I think the typical customer would
be the owner of a home or resident that does not usually evacuate or have the
chance to. There could be a small raft that compartment which can hold personal
belongings or small pets. This raft could be almost enclosed for safety.
D. is the opportunity relatively
easy or relatively difficult to exploit, and why do you think so?
I think this opportunity would
be difficult because it could require an advance product that may have already
been created.

B. what leads you to believe
that this information suggests an opportunity might exist
With more shootings and so much controversy
on weapon safety I think there would be an opportunity creating a new gun lock,
safe, fire arm with fingerprinted access, etc.
C. who do you think is most
likely to be the customer with the opportunity (i.e., the prototypical
customer)
Gun owners with children or gun
owners who live with mentally ill people.
D. is the opportunity relatively
easy or relatively difficult to exploit, and why do you think so?
I think it is difficult because
it will require a new technology being affordable to the masses and it is difficult
because most people who own guns have safes wouldn’t find it safe for emergencies
to have an extra lock in their guns.

What?
The age for buying Jules if
fighting to be pushed back to 21
A.
where
you found it (i.e., what the source of the information was that led you to form
the belief about an opportunity)
B. what leads you to believe
that this information suggests an opportunity might exist
I believe that because kids are
highly addicted to vaping they will struggle to quit it or just like alcohol find
other means of securing it. I think an opoortunity to create would be a similar
vape stick that is literally heated water and oil with no chemicals. So kids
going through withdraw can have a none addictive tool to use.
C.
who
do you think is most likely to be the customer with the opportunity (i.e., the
prototypical customer)
The
target customer would be people who currently vape under the age of 21 who will
soon lose the power to buy vape sticks.
D. is the opportunity relatively
easy or relatively difficult to exploit, and why do you think so?
I don’t think it will be that
hard to sell once it has been created.
Why
did you see the opportunity.
1. Baby Boomers
Aren't Retiring
I
was able to see this opportunity because my grandma visited this week and she
has retired and was speaking to me about her everyday life. My grandfather on
the other hand is still welding metal in the shipyard and he is 68. To prevent injury
of long ours to the feet and lower back it would be nice to provide or deliver goods
to people like my grandfather.
2.
Climate
Change Is Causing More Natural Disasters
This
opportunity seemed very applicable because living in Florida I have experienced
hurricanes but the last one, Irma almost flooded my house. As I sat on my porch
watching fish swim by, I felt kind helpless that if I need to get my animals
and belonging out of my house, I would be out of luck. So, having a device would give me piece of
mind.
3.
Gun laws are becoming more strict
As a gun owner I experienced waking in to a gun store at 18
(before federal law changed to 21) and walking our 30 minutes with a rifle. I believe
that their needs to be more safety mechanisms in place in case someone gets one
of my guns or when I have children, it is crucial they do not have access. This
opportunity could save lives.
4. The age for buying Jules if
fighting to be pushed back to 21
I do not joule or smoke but I believe that it is a market that
is thriving because every kid I see consistently does or has at least done it
once. I think it would be useful to increase the age but I don’t think it would
be effective if some kids who are highly addicted don’t have something to fall
back on to that isn’t that bad.
