The product I that will fix the problem discussed in my last post will be a easy to assemble indoor garden with lighting and a simple watering system. In this garden, dwellers of apartments who have no way to grow a small quantity of vegetables to pursue a healthy life style, learn to garden, and a living art feature to their common are or pantry. This product will come with instructions for assembly, instructions for maintaining the vegetation, and possibly seeds.

The service side of this will include an app to have people maintain your garden when you are gone for the holidays and assemble your garden for you. There will be 2-3 models of the garden, each more advance, more expensive, but requires less work. The larger and/or more advance models must be assembled by a company member and will include baby sprouting plants.

The product goal is to create enough food for multiple salads or side dishes for meals throughout the month. The main advertisement is for a healthier, cheaper, and fun way to add more green into your diet. The target audience is elderly people who cannot go outside as easy to garden, apartment occupants who enjoyed gardening but now do not own a yard (college students/young people), and people who are extremely environment friendly who like to insure that the food they are eating was not modified, possess to much chemicals, or were grow and picked by people who were oppressed in other countries.

  1. Hi Christopher,
I enjoyed reading the opportunity you want to pursue. I found this to be very interesting and an idea I would use myself. I don't know much about gardening, but I know it would be fun to learn about and do it with others. Not only is it eco friendly, but it would be much less expensive to grow your own vegetables than buy them from the store every week. Great job on this assignment!

  2. Hey Chris, I loved your post about 7A, I think you started asking some important questions . Basically everything I was wondering if you'd cover you covered here. I think it is very important to acknowledge the different types of residential indoor gardening people might want to engage in, so I loved your idea of the multiple models of gradens to choose from. I like that you specified your who, keeping opportunities open to older markets and targeting young adults and individuals. I think it is important that you started this with an open-minded approach, I think it'll be beneficial to maintain this approach as you continue to develop your opportunity.
