1) Describe five ways in which
you think you have human capital that is truly unique. What is it about you,
exactly, that makes you different? Write this up in a detailed list.
A. I believe that I am
different because of my ability to solve problems very quickly and in many
different ways. These problems are not one of math or physics that can drilled
through studying a text book but more of creative thinking for solutions to
life problems, efficiency with materials, and decisive decision making.
B. Less important to the realm
of business but I feel that I am healthy and fit which increases mental
wellness and results in me being sick less. Society should not impose physical
standards on people but when you do what you can to have good posture, walk
with a purpose, and speak with a certain voice it does go noticed. Also, being
healthy means less sick days or health complications that would slow you down.
C. I think another skill I
posses and work on everyday is the art of communication. You may not be the
most qualified person to have an interview with a company but if you answer all
of your questions clearly and concisely, have great facial gestures, and create
a relationship with the person interviewing you, you might get that job. This
also ties into motivating people.
D. I believe another helpful
trait I have that branches off of communication is the ability to remember
things about people socially. I cannot remember what I learned in eighth grade
but I could ask you about your third cat’s health you mentioned 8 months ago
briefly on the elevator. I believe that this is useful in maintaining all kinds
of relationships.
E. Finally, another attribute I
have is the motivation to keep hustling no matter how long or bumpy the road
is. The same pace and effective work I performed working in the second drive
through window at McDonalds was the same pace I have on month 3 during the
middle of the night. I believe having the ability to push yourself to your
limits will allow you to best yourself every time and find success.
2) Interview the five people
who know you the best.
!!!!
IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM DO I HAVE THE
INTENTION OF CHEATING!!! I waited to late to get my recorded interviews because
I did not read the instructions in time so I texted my people that know me and
decided to record their responses so I can get partial credit at least. Thank you
for understanding.
Mel: Her summary
was that I am very driven and can accomplish anything I can. She thinks that
with the right opportunity I can take of advantage it. She recognizes that my stubbornness
can leads to the complete pursuit with utmost effort for completing things.
Derrick: (little
brother) I think you’re a jerk sometimes but you have went against all the odds
presented to our family to make it to UF. I think that you can do anything you
just have to figure it out. You are capable of finding a way through every
problems so just keep going.
Andre: Growing up I
knew that you would make it. My goal is still to work for you when you blow up.
You have always been the one to lead the way or come with our next mission in
sports and in school. You are smart and creative like you mom.
Zach: We have only
known each other for more than a semester but you could sell water to a fish so
with that social ability you can make it anywhere dude. When I become a plastic
surgeon after med school I plan on having you run the business side of things
and bring in customers because you are so likable.
Maria: I can always
count on you to make the most out pf all of our situations and when times seem
boring you make it exciting. You had everyone hyped about a spelling bee so
with that attitude I know that you can keep that energy in every company.
3) Reflect on the
differences.
I
definitely try to be that guy who keep a positive vibe and gets the group up
and moving. I know that my friends felt somewhat this way because we are very
open but it was cool to hear them reaffirm these things. I hope to one day be
able to tell them that I made and so that we can thrive together and I can be a
valuable business partner.
